Data controller
[Company name], registered office at [address], VAT no. [number], with an office in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. For any privacy request, write to [privacy email].
What data we process
- Data you send through the contact form: name, email, phone (optional), chosen office, type of job and message.
- Data you send by phone, email or WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us that way.
- Technical browsing data logged by the server (such as IP address, browser, pages visited, date and time), used to run and secure the site.
- Spam protection: to limit repeated form submissions, we keep a code derived from your IP address for one hour.
The site does not use any analytics, profiling or advertising tools.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Replying to your requests and preparing quotes: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Site security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Meeting legal obligations, such as tax requirements, if you become a customer (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Form fields marked with * are needed to reply to you: without them we cannot handle the request.
Who we share data with
- Staff at the office you choose (Italy or Burkina Faso), only to handle your request.
- Providers that run the site and email: [hosting provider] and [email provider], appointed as data processors.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map on the Contact page, and WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp: their own privacy policies also apply in those cases.
We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
If your request concerns the Burkina Faso office, your data is also processed outside the European Union. [State the safeguards in place, for example standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.]
How long we keep data
- Contact requests and quotes: [for example 24 months] after the last exchange, unless they lead to a contract.
- Customer and billing data: for as long as the law requires.
- Server logs: [period set by the hosting provider].
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw any consent given, by writing to [privacy email].
You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; in Burkina Faso the Commission de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CIL).
